Jim and his partner did a great job top dressing my yard with compost. Saved me a ton of time and labor this year and honestly spread more evenly than when I’ve done it manually in the past. Very knowledgeable on how to care for grass seed after applying the compost as well.

Jaime was prompt and polite. He explained what they were going to do. One truck did the aeration a pond seeding, and a second truck was coming with the organic top dressing. They even used a leaf blower to clear those off my grass. Very satisfied with the job.

After interviewing several companies, I decided on Velvet Green as they seemed to really care about lawn service and needs/concerns of the customer. Having had my first visit from Patty, I believe I chose correctly -- she was extremely informative and much more detailed than other companies I've used in the past. Her recommendations and guidance were knowledgeable and professional and certainly not "cookie-cutter". And although very professional, she was extremely pleasant to talk to - no rushing - just wanted to be sure that I understood the process and both she and the Velvet Green Team were available for any future questions and concerns. So far - so great!
